West Mifflin fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-3 loss to Ringgold on Friday. Ringgold scored on a single by Bubash in the first inning, a error in the first inning, and a error in the second inning.
West Mifflin struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Ringgold, giving up ten runs.
Ringgold took the lead for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second an error scored two runs for Ringgold.
Fuller was credited with the victory for Ringgold. He lasted four innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out five. Feld threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Eric Link took the loss for West Mifflin. He went five innings, allowing ten runs on ten hits and striking out three.
Josh Arbasak went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead West Mifflin in hits.
Ringgold racked up 11 hits in the game. Angotti and Bubash each managed multiple hits for Ringgold. Angotti led Ringgold with three hits in five at bats.
