Girls Junior Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball · Fresh Start for Girls Basketball

After coming off of a season that showed a bright future the Lady Titans are ready to start the 2018-19 season. Not only are 4 out 5 starters returning the Titans are now led by a new head coach.

Taking over the job this year is Bob Perry. Very experienced in his coaching background and have coached many of these girls for years with a lot of success.

The Titans come back with yet another young team. They only have 3 seniors. A lot of the varsity team will be Juniors and Sophmores such as Lauren Yuhas, Shelby Genes, Aubree Sample, Avi Adams and Zaria Reid.

After a decent season in 5A the titans have dropped to 4A and have high goals for this season. “We want to make the state playoffs this year” said Bob Perry. In P.I.A.A basketball there are 7 teams that make the state palyoffs and sometimes an 8th time as a wild card.

The Lady Titans will start their season this weekend at the Brentwood tip off tournament. They play rival Steel Valley Friday and then an opponent TBD on Saturday. They will make their first home appearance on December 13 as they paly their first conference game against Southmoreland at 7:30.
